You'd never say to a friend what you say to yourself on a hard day. You give endlessly to the people around you — and yet somehow it never feels like enough. You keep ending up in the same situations, the same patterns, wondering why nothing really changes no matter how hard you try.

You're not broken. And you don't have to keep feeling this way.

My approach is built around more than symptom relief. I believe in educating the women I work with — helping you understand why you think the way you think, why you've lived the way you've lived, and how to do things differently in a way that truly honors who you are. Together we work to let go of the negative beliefs that have told you who you are — because those beliefs are not the truth of you.

I'm Cherilyn, a licensed professional counselor offering telehealth therapy across Texas. I work with women 40+ who are ready to stop being their own worst critic and start understanding where that voice came from. Together we look beneath the surface — at the patterns, the wounds, the stories you've carried for too long — and we find a way through them.

My goal from our very first conversation is for you to feel the kind of compassion toward yourself that you so freely give to everyone else — and leave knowing things genuinely can be different.

If you're ready, I'd love to talk.

    Codependency

Many of us have a tendency to want to protect or prevent others from negative feelings, thoughts and behaviors, with the hope that it will prevent us from experiencing negative feelings in return. The truth is, it doesn’t work like that.
